Ryan Lanza Says:" It was not me I was at Work!"

1355527576819
A screenshot of Ryan Lanza's Facebook profile. Ryan was originally identified as the suspected gunman in Friday's school shooting, but officials now say the shooter was his younger brother Adam.

Earlier this afternoon, in the rush to identify the perpetrator of the Newtown school shooting, bunches of Twitter users (including the Slate Twitter account) rushed to link to the Facebook profile of someone named Ryan Lanza. At that time, someone by that name had been identified as the shooter by many, many media outlets. Could this be the same person?
Almost immediately, the Facebook Ryan Lanza’s friends began posting screenshots of his account. "Fuck you CNN it wasn’t me," this Lanza wrote on Facebook. He also posted: "I’m on the bus home now it wasn’t me" and "IT WASN’T ME I WAS AT WORK IT WASN’T ME."
Now, hours later, the New York Post, the AP, and others are reporting that the shooter’s name is Adam Lanza, not Ryan Lanza. And it appears that the Ryan Lanza Facebook account that was passed around immediately after the Newtown shooting belongs to the suspect’s brother.
According to public records searches, Ryan and Adam Lanza have both lived at 36 Yogananda St. in Newtown. A Nancy Lanza is also listed at that address. News reports indicate that Nancy is the mother of Ryan and Adam, that she worked at Sandy Hook Elementary as a teacher, and that she is presumed dead. The Hartford Courant is reporting that, in addition to the 26 victims found at Sandy Hook Elementary School, "another person was found dead at 36 Yogananda St. in Newtown." The Courant does not identify the person found dead at that address, but CBS News and CNN are now reporting that Lanza's mother was found dead in her home.

Public records searches also show that the same Ryan Lanza who lived in Newtown has recently shared an address in Hoboken, N.J., with people named Jessica O’Brien and Michael Shapiro. The circulated screenshots of Ryan Lanza’s Facebook account show responses from a Jessica O’Brien and a Michael Shapiro. In response to Lanza posting "Everyone shut the fuck up it wasn’t me," O’Brien wrote: "Do you need anything ready for when you get home? Can I set anything out for you to grab and go? Anything else I can do L". In response to Lanza writing "Fuck you CNN it wasn’t me," Shapiro wrote "this is batshit insane" and "how the fuck do they jump to such a conclusion with zero evidence."
This post, originally published at 5:22 p.m., was updated at 5:42 p.m. to include the reports that Lanza's mother was found dead in her home.

"Big Bang Theory" actress Mayim Bialik, husband divorcing

NEW YORK | Sat Nov 24, 2012 9:16am EST
(Reuters) - "The Big Bang Theory" actress Mayim Bialik and her husband are divorcing after nine years of marriage, she said in a statement on her Facebook page.
Bialik, who starred in the 1990s sitcom "Blossom," and Michael Stone have two sons together.
"Divorce is terribly sad, painful and incomprehensible for children," Bialik, 36, said in the statement. "It is not something we have decided lightly."
Bialik, a proponent of "attachment parenting" who authored a book on the subject that was published in September, said it "played no role" in the couple's divorce.
Attachment parenting advocates the nurturing of strong bonds between parents and children, which can include extended breast-feeding and parents and children sleeping in the same bed until the children are as old as 7. A controversial Time magazine cover on the subject in May drew strong reactions across the United States.
"The main priority for us now is to make the transition to two loving homes as smooth and painless as possible," Bialik wrote in the statement, which was posted to her Facebook page on Wednesday. "Our sons deserve parents committed to their growth and health and that's what we are focusing on."
"We will be OK," the statement concludes.
Bialik is a former child star who appeared in the 1980s television series "Webster" and "The Facts of Life" before landing the title role in the coming-of-age television show "Blossom," which ran from 1991 to 1995. The show was about a smart teenage girl whose parents have divorced and is learning about life.
The actress attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where she obtained a doctorate in neuroscience.
She met Michael Stone, a fellow graduate student, in calculus class, according to a description of her wedding she previously posted online.
In her most recent role on CBS comedy "The Big Bang Theory," Bialik plays Amy Farrah Fowler, a neuroscientist who dates one of the two main stars of the show, the socially inept but brilliant physicist Sheldon Cooper.

Lindsay Lohan's Attorney Says Actress 'Will Be Exonerated'

Lindsay Lohan's legal team believes the 26-year-old actress "will be totally exonerated" after she was charged with misdemeanor assault Thursday. Attorney Mark Heller also told ABC News that Lohan is "a victim of someone trying to capture their 15 minutes of fame."
Lohan hasn't been seen in public since leaving New York City's 10th precinct Thursday morning, and hasn't commented on the four misdemeanors she racked up Thursday. But the husband of the woman Lohan allegedly punched, Tiffany Ava Mitchell, spoke to ABC News about his "aggravated" fight and the drunken bar brawl that he can't make sense of.
"We don't even want to leave the house at this moment," Mitchell's husband, Wayne Stevens, told ABC News through the intercom of his New York apartment Thursday.
"She's all swollen," he said of his wife, who runs a chain of psychic reading salons in Florida. "Her cheek is swollen. ... She's pretty aggravated"
Stevens said there didn't seem to be any logic behind Lohan's alleged swipe at his 28-year-old wife. "It kind of just escalated because someone else had a brawl," he said. During the fight, he said Lohan "went and pushed my wife pretty hard."
"I don't even know why she pushed her," he said. "And we didn't realize who it even was. Five minutes later, she comes around and tells my wife, 'If I need space,' and then she just punched her."
"She got drunk and crazy," he added. "That's the best I can say."

Stevens said Mitchell does not plan to see a doctor. They were at New York's 10th Thursday morning, where she did not require medical attention.

The bar brawl isn't Lohan's only problem. On Thursday, she was also charged with three misdemeanors for lying to Santa Monica, Calif., police about a June car crash on the Pacific Coast Highway.
The charges revolve around whether Lohan was driving the Porsche that got mangled during the accident, or if she was in the passenger seat at the time of the crash. Lohan initially said she was a passenger; police found evidence she was the driver.
More importantly, the Santa Monica charges may be enough for a judge to revoke Lohan's probation in connection with a conviction for stealing a $2,500 necklace in 2011.

Lohan's Assistant Urges Her to Get Help

Lohan's assistant, Gavin Doyle, called her out on Twitter after Wednesday night's fight. Thursday afternoon, he tweeted, "@lindsaylohan after bailing you out last night I HOPE and PRAY you get the help you so desperately need. We are ALL rooting for you. xxx"
In another tweet, he wrote, "Life is NOT a movie it's a reality that needs to be faced."
Doyle was also with Lohan when she crashed her car on the Pacific Coast Highway in June.
It's been a tough week for Lohan. Her latest attempt at a comeback, the Lifetime movie "Liz & Dick," premiered Sunday to a not overwhelming audience of 3.5 million viewers. Critics almost universally panned the Elizabeth Taylor biopic.

She's also had a spate of legal troubles this fall. In September, she was arrested outside New York's Dream Downtown hotel when a pedestrian claimed she hit him with her car and did not stop. The Manhattan District Attorney's Office declined to prosecute that case.

Is Jessica Simpson Pregnant Again?

Jessica Simpson could be gaining back some of the 60-plus pounds she lost after giving birth to daughter Maxwell Drew in May.
Us Weekly reports that the singer and “Fashion Star” mentor is pregnant again.
The magazine quoted a source saying, “It definitely wasn’t planned. But yes, Jessica is pregnant again.”
Simpson’s spokeswoman declined to comment on the report to ABCNews.com.
The baby would be the second for Simpson, 32, and her fiance, pro football player Eric Johnson, 33.
The pop star recently shed more than 60 pounds she gained while pregnant with her daughter through a Weight Watchers-controlled diet and four-times-a-week workout sessions with her trainer.
“In over 20 years, I’ve never seen as consistent of a weight loss,” her trainer Harley Pasternak told Us last month. “Jessica’s right where she needs to be.”
Simpson’s Weight Watchers leader Liz Josefsberg told the magazine, “She’s very brave to do this in a healthy, more realistic way.”

On the premiere of Katie Couric‘s talk show in September, Simpson admitted that there was a “lot of pressure” on her to lose weight.
She had a lot of incentive, though. Earlier this year, Simpson signed a reported $3 million contract to be the celebrity face of Weight Watchers.
If she is indeed pregnant, it’s unclear how this might this affect her contract with the weight-loss program.
“Any questions related to Jessica’s personal life can only be answered by her team,” company spokeswoman Stephanie Shulman told ABCNews.com. “We do not disclose financial details about any of our relationships with our ambassadors.”
